Shadowman and Chip's Gal aka "34" at the Texas Mile

I have just been told that Chip pushed through the 210 MPH on his first pass; a casual pass as well; for Chip this crosses off one more of his Bucket List items.

Sadly however he had a hose clamp that decided to give up the ghost after the run; a leak that was noticed as he was staging for his next run as such Jason Heffner and his team have/are correcting this so he can continue to exercise her.

I also understand that Ray's gal needed a little tending to however this too is under control thanks to many people working together as such she too will be exercised again soon.

Congrats Chip:eek How about Ray? Any word on his progress?

congratulations Chip :cheers

Wow you guys are having too much fun. Enjoy :cheers

WOW, Congrats Chip. Mission Accomplished. Here's hoping you get to 220 tomorrow. Ray is next, can't wait for updates.

Ray blew off a cooling hose also. It looks like you could put two or three clamps on the hose that came off to prevent it from happening again. Hopefully he will be good to go tomorrow. They were trying to evacuate air out of the system when I left.

It was a good day, but very crowded compared to our rally day last October.

I'd have to say Chip is probably having the most fun of any of us out here. I can tell when he is ready to do another run as he gets that look of a kid on Christmas morning look. Priceless

I have a feeling Chip will be out here again or another Mile event in the near future.

chip with a 218.6

Peak at 239

This must be Ray's car with the new wheels? Or is it Chip's?

How about this!

220.1 MPH

My 2nd & final run on Sunday after some tips from all my friends here was beyond my wildest expectations.

If Jason Heffner can get this old dog in the 220+ club in a street friendly GT on just 21 lbs of boost, that's just amazing. Thanks to Shadowman for getting me ready in time!
