I just drove Bony's GT to move it to a warehouse for a while. I was really impressed with the exhaust note. Can someone tell me what set up he had on the exhaust? I don't care for the unfinished exhaust tips but I would guess you could always put some chrome tips on.

Dang I miss his emails :(

Stainless Works headers. Contact ShadowMan for the info.

Comes with stainless tips

Wow!! That must have been weird.........I would have cried..

It was really sad... Lorna had to go into the house before I drove off. There were may of their friends their watching and taking a few photos. They even applied one of the Bony window stickers to his windshield. It was a sad moment for sure.

Jerry - .... there is nothing I can say after reading this thread but... I truly miss the Big Guy's humor, e-mails and sarcasm which the saying is "sarcasm is misunderstood by children, fools and the boss"

RIP Daniel!

Yes that is the Stainless Works full header system that we installed at Shadowman's shop back in April 2007. He really liked it. He liked it so much that he made me take the car for the test drive so he could hear it from a distance. When I got back he had the biggest smile ever.

Tough stuff Awsum.

Driving Bony's car to storage would be impossibly hard.

I had to clear the personal belongings of a close friend some while ago (his widow couldn't face up to it) - putting all his stuff into bags was very difficult.

Good for you for doing it with such obvious affection.

Could you update us on how Lorna is doing.

I could not have done what you did. I had to do it once and never looked at any of the cars for 9 years just this month I was able to start playing with one.

Something about us true blue car guys and our conection to each other.

Lorna seems to have a great support group of friends with her. They are helping her will all of her needs. I am doing what I can to help her on items she has asked of me. She seems to be doing pretty well.

That's excellent news. Thank you for helping her out. :thumbsup

I'm sure I couldn't have driven that car.

I agree. I still think about people I have known who have flown the helicopter for the last time. It would be hard to drive someone else's car knowing that they would never drive it again. I wish I could have met him. God Bless America.

Thanks for posting. I was thinking of Bony this morning as I put decals on both of my cars and my race helmet. Peace, AC

Jerry, Thank You for sharing with us. It had to be hard! God, I miss him so much. Tomy

I don't think I could have done that Jerry.
You remain a great friend to Lorna and the family.
Thank you for filling us in, as hard as it is.

I do remember that smile too. Bony and I made the trip to Shadowman's together and I got to follow him back to Chowchilla. He was constantly getting into the throttle and making sure I got to hear it. His GT really did sound sweet and looked better everytime I saw it. I sure miss him. God Bless America :usa

Stainless Works is headquartered just a few miles from my home in Ohio. They make great stuff, the long tube headers are worth the money.
