2005 Carrera GT Fayence Yellow/Black Interior 80 Miles on MSO For Sale

2005 - Porsche Carrera GT -WPOCA29845L001463 - This is a very rare and brand new Carrera GT with 84 Miles. One of the last cars produced. This Porsche is still on certificate of origin. The Carrera GT is powered by a 5.7 litre V10 engine producing 605 horsepower. Porsche states it will accelerate from 0 to 62 in 3.9 seconds and has a maximum speed of 205mph, although road tests indicated that in reality the car could accelerate from 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds and 0-100 mph in 6.8 seconds, while 0-125 mph in 9.9.

Originally a production run of 1,500 cars was planned. But Porsche announced in August, 2005 that it would not continue production of the Carrera GT through 2006, citing discontinuation was due to changing airbag regulations in the US. As of May 6, 2006, 1,270 GT's had been manufactured, with 604 being sold in the United States

The Carrera GT has a basic five colour paint scheme which includes Guards Red, Fayence Yellow, Basalt Black, GT Silver and Seal Grey. Custom colours were also available from the factory. A traditional six-speed manual transmission is the only available transmission. Attached to this gearbox is a beechwood gearknob which pays homage to the wooden gearknob used in the Porsche 917 Le Mans racers. The Carrera GT base price of $444,400.

The Carrera GT has large side inlets and air dams that help cool the large V10 engine that had 612 bhp framed by the carbon fibre rear hood. Fitted with Porsche's latest Carbon fibre-reinforced Silicon Carbide, ceramic composite brake system, the 15 inch SGL Carbon disc brakes make an impressive appearance underneath the 19 inch front and 20 inch rear wheels. Similar to other Porsche models, such as the 911, the GT includes an automated rear wing spoiler which deploys above 70 mph.

The interior is fitted with soft leather. Bose audio system and navigation systems and this 2004 has the luggage option as well.

Only 15 cars were built in yellow and half were built with Terracota. These cars are absolutely amazing fit and finish.

I have to agree with Bernie. I had a guards Red Carrera GT and I would have to say it was my favorite car that I have ever had (next to the GT :wink ).
This is truely a rare Find Bernie, especially on MSO with less than 100 miles. Mark my word, these cars will be worth crazy money one day (in my opinion) :thumbsup
I am sure she wont last long!

I think it's the best fit and finish of any car I've ever seen. Period. One of the most undervalued supercars ever. It would be a very difficult decision choosing between this and an Enzo.

Thank for the pictures and I see that your website has been updated too.

I have a few customers with these gals and from time to time have considered picking one up for myself. I have watched the market on these gals move all over the place during the past few years and yet what they are/will be worth remains speculation or better said solely based on who writes the next check because many of the well healed within the Porsche crowd never warmed up to them and those in the extreme exotic market find them only moderately interesting to look at even though on paper they are phenomenal.

Bernie; the gal that you have is stunning and even though my color of choice is black and I would consider purchasing her however at your asking price she is not terribly interesting to me.

I remain interested particularly for an MSO gal simply because of the following;

1. I do not know if over time she would grow on me and if not a gal with a factory warranty in place would make it much easier to re-sell; a relative term because they are not typically sought after akin to gals such as the Ford GT's.
2. The out of warranty service costs associated with these gals can become extreme very quickly.

All the best Bernie and thank you again
