CALIFORNIA CUDA!!!!!!!! THE TIRES I AM RUNNING RIGHT NOW ARE 17 INCH M & H and they are great very very sticky drag tire.. with tread... they hold 900 in first gear and all of 1450 in the rest second gear is 1350 RWHP JOE

they are not really slick they do have tread and are DOT but they are 17 INCH they have a lot more treading than hoosiers.. californiacuda are you close to getting you car done ?? 1500 or so rwhp?? keep me posted..

my car ran 10.4 at 144.9 at orlando speedway about a year ago with 732 rwhp we are preparing to break into the 9's since it seems we resolved the traction problems at 1450 RWHP.. i will keep you posted but i dont think it is going to be long since the car is ready.. joe

that roll cage requirement would be a bummer ,,,, i wonder how henessy did it since he ran a convertible viper... anybody know 1 mile races withou a rollcage requirement????

i am using special rimms right now 19 LBS each aluminum single piece and i have a setup that is more grippy than the hoosiers.. it is a setup developed for LEMANS... needless to say it is not DOT... it is equivalent toi 355 width in the back and 18 INCH... i will hopefully try it next week...

not yet .. but we will since i am getting new plumbing for new turbos

i think i found new wheels and tires to go with new power (twice as sticky than hoosier power).. that is next along with a bit bigger turbos i dont think we will have to rebuild the engine at all stefan since this is indeed american IRON.. heheh Volkswagen i guess didnt have the phone number...

waiting on my buddy outlaw to get his 1000 rwhp viper fixed.. and i will lower the boost to 22psi so it is similar 1000 rwhp on the gt the we can really test this theory out....

i would love to run a viper with 1200 rwhp on 1 mile run as well as 1/4 mile run on the same car with the same setup i think it would be a blast....

i think it would be a great race 1 mile shotout ... given equivalent horsepower.. 1/4 mile?? viper is faster and quicker (gearing??)
