    Penske shocks rattle -NEED HELP-

MR2Race, I did not install the shocks myself, Jack at muscle motors did the handy work, Im sure he would be glad to help swap out parts. What is the difference between the prototypes and the production models, (other than the mounts).

    Penske shocks rattle -NEED HELP-

Thanks BlackICE, I have one spring on each rear spring. I will give alex at TA a call. Race car noises bother the wife much more than me, it was already challenging getting her to go on long drives. Yep, I know, get a new wife:)

    Penske shocks rattle -NEED HELP-

Hello all, I had the Penske shocks installed about a month ago. My car sits lower and corners flat as a pancake. I will get it on a track early next month for a before and after comparison. My one and only complaint is the clunk I get every big crack or small pothole. Is there a way to...

When nuclear weapons are outlawed, only outlaws will have nuclear weapons...right!?

P.S. The Chinese have recently tested a ground based laser (2 months ago) that destroyed a Chinese satellite. Ground based weapons are a more serious threat to our satellites than space weapons. Opps, sorry. Back to cars. How about that Kenne Bell supercharger?

When nuclear weapons are outlawed, only outlaws will have nuclear weapons...right!?

The United States is one of the five recognized nuclear powers under the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty ("NPT"). It maintains a current arsenal of around 9,960 intact warheads, of which 5,735 are considered active or operational, and of these only a certain number are deployed at any given...

I want to add a shift light to my car. There are a few options discussed in this post. Tungsten, did you install your chase shift lights? Where do you connect the wires? Thanks

I killed my engine with a pressure washer

Thanks Dan, I will try disconnecting the battery tonight. Strange how the A/C affects the PCM learning curve. Great tip. Edson

I killed my engine with a pressure washer

Triheart7: I was on the show featuring the ford GT school. I was wearing the tight blue long sleeve shirt, driving the tungsten. I have done a lot of interviews and I always have one liners that producers tend to include. P.S. my wife forbids me from wearing the blue shirt in public again...

I killed my engine with a pressure washer

Hello all, I am the unfortunate soul whose GT died during the last Ford GT School. I am also the guy interviewed wearing the blue shirt during the Speed Channel show. When my supercharger blew it's seal my engine bay was coated in a thin layer of oil. I just recieved my supercharger back...

How my GT died at Willow Springs

I was considering using a smaller pulley on the stock charger, now I am having second thoughts. A smaller pulley would increase temps and pressure in the supercharger snout. Perhaps a whipple with a 17lbs pulley. Is there any news on the new whipple? I do like the look of the polished...

How my GT died at Willow Springs

bubbles along the seam Bubbles of oil appeared to be coming out of the seam. Neil Hanenman (ford engineer) was at the track, and mentioned there is no gasket but a thin layer of sealant, he also felt the sealant was the point of failure. When the polisher reasembled the charger, they may not...

How my GT died at Willow Springs

I was at the Ford GT school at Willow Springs on tuesday. Neil and Richard exceeded my expectations again. Unfortunately my GT died. About 5 months ago I pulled the supercharger off and had it polished by stiegemeier. After several hours on the track, I had a failure between the snout and...

    Willow Springs best lap times

Hannemann shaved many seconds off my time, I hoping to do better at the next driving school. Hey Kent, are you going to Willow on March 11th? My reason for starting this new post is to see how the GT compares to other great track cars, and to see where I stack up personally. Steve Millen...

    Willow Springs best lap times

The best lap I ran during the last TallGuy driving school at Willow Spring was a 1:37 (As fast as my courage would allow). I had Hoosiers but everything else was stock. What is the best time a GT has had at Willow Springs (stock and modded)? From another thread I found this, Lap Times at...

Another Ford GT only Drivers School

I attended the last track day. I felt it was very well run. There was a initial glitch with the gps units, but that was quickly rectified. The support staff was excellent, they had several mechanics in the pit. I went off track and the pit crew repaired the damage (front air dam) in 30...
