Well you guys that still have the cat's on your car's it may sound good. some of us have removed the restricions and have full flow (and power) can still drive on the road.

The best I can say not so much tin sound any more. A bit louder but not (harley) lould unless you stand on it. I was at a cars & coffe with one with a stock muffler and headers you could tell mine was opened up but only about a note louder and deeper.

sorry for the dirt I have 1 1/2 miles of dirt road. Jeff also cut a mandrel bent 90 in half and used that as a deflector for the incoming. Some of the welds are large for the fact I cut off the heat shield.

Hi GT Doc My oil pressure dorps to 25 to 0 at idle a few rpm and it gose back up to 25 is this the oil pump? The oil is full on the stick and only 1000 or so miles on this change. Help 711

Has anyone tryed opening up the vents on the shell. They have small side openings but could be opened by removing some of the fiber between the bolt holes?

Yes you will get some weight savings I put on the ford racing headers and had them coated inside and out (hp coatings) and bolted them to the stock muffler and got a big heat reduction and gained 61 hp. and a sound you can use on the road.

Could you have hit the revlimiter? not hard to do in first gear.

I put the headers to the stock muffler so I still have back pressure and the computer did adjust the a/f to a nice flat 12 all the way through the pull. But I still will do a tune when the snow melts.

Update November 5th had mine out 10,000 and some miles. up to 160 and hit the revlimiter in 1st & 2nd playing with some porsch's Guy's. They don't look like bad car's in the rear view but they get so small so fast. 711 November 7th look to be 60 + time for more mile's in Minnesota
