You can tell him that the irony is that the only person who said anything about him owns a Z06. I guess I would have thought Z06 owners would have had more class than to resort to name calling.

Regardless, I never could (and never will) understand abusing something like that Z06 (or anything else for that matter) in the first place - for a charity or for whatever reason. There are a million other ways to raise money for a cause - like auctioning off NEW rear qtr panel(s) and tires that someone can actually USE!!! What the devil is one going to do with the 'destroyed' 'panel(s) he "wins" at auction???. ('Not necessarily a criiticism - just a stmt of fact.)
'Seems it would have made more sense all around to just give the cost of the "expected or unexpected" damage to the charity right from the get-go and leave the car in one piece ... or, 'in peace'.

What if from a Ford GT fan
First of all I am 16 years old and this is my first post.
I LOVE the FORD GT. I think it is the most awesome car in the world.
I have a few questions about the Ford GT if someone doesn't care to answer them for me.
First...I was wandering what if a Ford GT raced a Z06 Who really had more HP and who would win.
Second...Is the Kit Car (Ford GT 40 Kit Car) worth the investment...and where would I be able to find performance parts that would make a kit car worthy of the appearance of a GT 40.

I'd tackle high school first, then start worrying about expensive cars. And investments are real estate, businesses, stocks, bonds, IRA's, NOT cars. The best investment you can make right now is in YOURSELF and your education.

I guess what I concluded is that Chevy/Corvette realize they sell these cars mostly to the irresponsible majority and they sure proved it by having a GM representative exhibit that level of incompetence.

You guys are being a little too hard on the guy. The crowd enjoyed the show and am sure any damage done is easily repairable at a modest cost to the owner. Hell he works for GM and it may be a company car that GM will repair at no cost!
