WTB: Carbon Fiber Side Scoop

Gents,

Anybody have a pair of these side scoops (see photo) in carbon fiber available?
Maybe some sitting on the shelf that you were going to install, but never did.

If so, please PM me. Looking to add some to my GT.

I just don’t see 2,600 dollars of enjoyment out of those!
The side skirts, front spoiler and rear diffuser look great thou!
I have the side skirts and really like them

While I started with outfitting the interior with CF, I will eventually get a set of these.....$2,600? Not bad in the grand scheme of CF parts. And doesn't require a core exchange, so that's good.
 
Called Technocraft today - phone number from web. Reportedly closing and going out of business.

Gentlemen,

I got mine (along with the outside mirrors) from Kip Ewing when he was making them. I doubt he still is but you might want to send him a note. Perhaps he has a finished set.

Check the center console or storage thread (I think). Kip has some stuff stored away..

Facebook is best way to contact Kip. I had almost every piece of CF Kip made.

I just spoke with Kip. He has no more CF parts for the GT.

Sounds like a new distributor is needed. Last year, I had a series of discussions with this company about doing custom pieces for my Diablo. They said they would do anything in CF I wanted. I'll reach out to them....

Maybe if Kip is done, he might consider selling the tooling to somebody else who would want to run with it?

Same with Tecnocraft, if they have tooling/design.
 
would be nice, for next round of owners or oldies who want small upgrades
 
The problem is, there is just not a big enough market to do a production run of them. I actually purchased the molds of the double dins for the GT's from Kip and we did a few of them but with the cost of getting them going and the few folks that want them just don't make it possible to have them produced. The scoops would be an easier piece to make but if you could get 10 units sold I think you would be very lucky and the numbers are maybe not even 5....

But then again new owners are coming on the scene all the time. I owned my car all of about 10 days before committing to $8,000+ worth of interior CF pieces.
