WOW--removed rocker panel stripe-Pic

Hi,
I have a 05 Black GT with the lower stripe at the base of the doors.
This morning with a blow dryer I removed the lower stripe BUT I left the Ford GT decal. MANNNNNNNNNNNNNN that looks 100% better, it really looks a lot leaner and cleaner. The pics I took this afternoon the color is washed out
so I,ll retake some more soon. I think a lot of cars would look sweetttt by leaving the letter decal only.... Happy cruising BillyRay

Removal Tip!!
I used a blow dryer and it took half an hour.
Tip #1- open the doors and in the door jam use a finger nail pick the 1/8 inch stripe outwards after heating it with the dryer. What happens if you dont pick the stripe outwards ,is when you pull the stripes off and you get to the door jam area,the stripe will tear!! This happened on the driver side but not on the pass. side. The stripes come off real easy and like someone else did, I ordered a complete set of stripes at $120.00 per side.
I,am also thinking about getting my buddy to make up some small lettering for the calipers.
Not sure what I,ll say but maybe something like::::
Warning---Ford GT---Stay back---Dangerous---Danger--Chick Magnet--205 Plus---Beast---Awesome--

I've had the opposite thought - lose the lettering and go with solid side stripes. Of course I purchased a complete new set of side stripes from Ford should I choose to return the car to 100% stock at some point in the future.

Hey Mike & tpraceman, I will gladly post some pictures that I took today. I have been busy with a new local owner just down the street with another Black beauty. Look for him to post as a new owner in the next couple of days (KDO GT) as he will fit in just fine with this group.:banana We just couldn't stop talking about our pride and Joys:willy Look for some new pictures within a couple of weeks as I have two different sets of rims and tires getting done as we speak.
