Who has the Maroon GT w/Ghost Stripes..

My phone was ringing off the hook this morning. I heard that 3 GT's showed up at Donut Derelicts, then went on to Cs&C this morning.:driving:

One Silver
One White
and one Maroon w/Ghost Stripes that caught everyone's attention.

GTs at Cars & Coffee

I was at C&C, too. One Tungsten and two Red GT's, two Shelby/Superformance GT40s, one original 289 Cobra. Didn't see any maroon GTs.

Frank, that's what I thought at first, but they said it was a coupe.

I guess they only stopped off at Donut Derelicts. My buds figured they went on to Cs&C due to their early departure from DD. At least 2 of my buds know the difference between ours and the replicas....but then, it is 6am.:eek

I thought they might be a part of the Forum because they said the GT's travelled together.

.............gotta get out of bed and make it over there more often. :ack

It was not my car, I am not in CA.

In either case when you see my car out and about in person it is more a bright reflective candy color, the pics always darken my car and if there is no lighting it appears maroon color.

However I do have Ghost stripes that never show in pics only in person so it would be cool to see another car with them.

There was a Red / White stripe there. Nice guy, drives it a lot. Didn't see another although I left early and didn't look that closely. Talked to a gentleman who has a black but it wasn't with him.

Did show off my new Shadowman exhaust and from the comments I got, it's construction and sound were appreciated.

I simply adore the colour on your car!! I've finally found a picture of a Candy GTX where you can (sort of) see the ghost stripe. So very cool. Maybe it's yours? It looks like Concourso Italiano in 2007 and was with a yellow/silver stripe GTX, a Blue/white GTX, a silver GT40 and several modern GT's.

I believe it was at the infield area of the track at Laguna Seca.
