I found some markings hand written on the inside of the front panel opposite the Ford emblem, that has my VIN 237, Date and KIT

I assume the date is the date it was painted.

Whats does KIT # number mean? Does this mean this is the ~580th car car?

I don't know and don't care.

I hope some one answers, but I doubt it. I asked when I discovered similar markings 2 years ago.... More mysteries about these cars...

When doing the MM tour I asked where in the production is Mollie's car and I was told somewhere in the 500's, so I assume it 580.

Any one else want to share their annotation and delivery date?

Ours is 1xx (cant remember) built January 2018. Maybe it is the equivalent of "rotation number" of the 05-06?

During our factory tour I saw some stickers on the chassis and was told they were the chassis numbers. Each chassis delivered to Multimatic had a number assigned to them. It was not the VIN number. Is this a pic from the CF tub?

Do you really want to know the answer? Alright, hold on. I will need to stretch first.

MAGIC- The pic is inside the bonnet behind the ford emblem, you will need a flashlight.

I think the 580 refers to the maximum miles you’ll ever put on your car because you’re too busy looking at it

The "kit" number just denotes a complete set of produced body panels. It does not directly correlate to the order in which your car was built, or even necessarily that every panel on a particular vehicle is from the same "kit."

And there you have it... I sure hope he can sleep tonight now that he has the answer.....

So, you have a "kit" car. Sorry.
