Stripe Delete, red brake calipers, base wheels = 1 vehicle in that combo. Only 6 yellow stripe delete cars total.
 
Stripe delete means not applying standard side stripes. Or, you could peel the standard tape off yourself. This, apparently, is a one option car with 7k miles for $240K. Following the rarity logic, if it was a zero option car, it would go for $250K?
 
I actually think this looks a lot better than a stripe car.
 
I think the yellow needs the black stripes. That's just me....
 
You have probably seen an all yellow car in person, so you are probably correct. I think what throws me off on the stripe car is they need wheels very badly. The yellow/black does not tie in well with the stock color of the wheels.
 
I have a yellow/black stripe car. My wheels are painted black and Shelby recently painted my gas cap, gas cap release handle and trunk release handle to match. I'll post a picture later.

Having that exact one you describe - which you well know since you sold it to me, I would agree!

Furthermore, that pic is seriously chopped and enhanced to give it that glow you see. The car doesn't look like that - and no stripes on it just doesn't do it for me.

The yellow/ black with black wheels above looks sick. It's just what a yellow GT needs to make it sinister looking like it does in that pic.

I haven’t seen a FGT in any color or stripe combo I don’t like!
 
this is the first time i have ever seen a yellow one with no stripes. that is unique

that is the best looking yellow one i have ever seen. the wheels are what makes it.
 
Damn, that GT looks tasty.

I was looking for a Heritage to add to the stable. Maybe this car is for me. Anyone know the history of this particular vehicle?

There's just something about black wheels on yellow cars - this is a Z06 I had back in 2010 - and I did a pair of AVD1.10 black 20" wheels.

 
I prefer my car with black stripes and optional wheels. That one looks off to me but still nice.
 
i have always thought that any FGT needs stripes... Camilo even said it when he designed it, it had to have stripes... but now it is a very rare FGT of any color that doesn't make you say "damn"... what a great car... they all look sooo good :biggrin
 
Never seen a stripe free yellow. Gotta say I like, but then I'm a stripe free kinda guy. Neat too that there's no Mac.
