Hopefully you have now had a chance to drive the car for a while with the new suspension setup.
Could you please give a bit of feedback on how the KW HLS feel on the road compared to the stock dampers, particularly regarding the ride on roads with a poor surface.

Unable to give my impressions as of yet because the installation is not yet completed. I"m also doing some larger brakes that will not clear the OEM 18"s. HRE told me they are 24-30 weeks out so I"ve been taking my time and doing other things along the way while the pans are off.

Is that "the" sonic blue car? Or a color change of another car?

Gainesville (FL) Street Rods held their 40th annual car show event yesterday, with proceeds going to support Stop Children's Cancer. Beautiful weather. I counted 7 rows of about 20 cars, and some along the main road to attract attention, so ~150. The GT isn't really a street rod, but WTH we were goin' anyway! And it didn't stop them from giving us the award for the Modern class. The trophy was an insulated mug 🙂 🍻

I was thinking @68Rcodeman might've liked this show, but then again as you can tell by my pics, GMs out-numbered Ford by quite a bit ... which the Mustang owner next to me observed also. He came up from 3 hours south, and said in his area Fords are much more common. Turned out we helped by adding 1 more Ford :cool:

You were fortunate that was the case!

Back in 2006, the marketing director for our largest local casino asked me to bring my GT to their annual car show...so I did. 'Turned out he had a 'podium'-status (sic), prominent parking spot reserved for the car to act as a 'draw' for 'J.Q. Public'.

Show entrants were supposed to be limited to 1970-and-older cars...and man did I hear about my GT being there...as well as where it had been parked.
One of theeeee biggest bellyachers was our county executive. He along with one of the ladies who had her car entered in the show made it a point to come over and give me an earful. When they both ran out of wind, I explained all the above, 'pointed out said marketing director to them and suggested they go over and voice their complaints to him.

To the lady's credit, she returned a short time later and apologized for her behavior...but...surprise, surprise...the county exec didn't.

'Unbelievable...

That drive to the car show, probably was responsible, for about 1/2 the total miles you put on the car!!!
