Well I guess you have a point. The mkt. is in the toilet now and after Nov. 4th it would down the sewer pipes out into the bay or ocean!

An unsettling feeling in my gut. A majority of my countrymen are getting together and deciding how much of my income, my property value, and my estate they are going to confiscate and spend as they see fit on distributions and benefits to themselves. If a street gang were to do this, Arizona's "Castle Doctrine" would allow me to repel boarders with my personal firearms. Perhaps the police would show up to assist me.
But this gang will be using the overwhelming power of the state, the police will enforce the wishes of the thieves, and my personal firepower is useless here. True democracy in action. The individual is no longer sovereign in this strange land we used to know and love as the United States of America.
An America loathing, far left-wing radical will lead this mob to their imaginary promised land by, "spreading the wealth around". These economic morons believe America's most productive citizens, the top 5% of income earners, will continue to build new businesses, hire more workers, and pay more taxes as they continually whip us harder and harder while they simultaneously eliminate the burden on 50% of American workers who pay no income taxes at all.
Socialism has been tried countless times over last 200 years in nations all over the world. Without one single success. It has failed every single time it has been foisted upon a population because it attempts to both deny and defy human nature.

What is scary is that a very large percentage of Americans do not pay ANY taxes. (except sales tax). I have had people work for me that did not want any more hours as they would lose their state paid benefits. (health care, rent, food, disability, etc) So in effect, it discourages work. But there is a big difference from people who never work at all to people who work 40 hours and still can't move away from the people on welfare. The republicans have had the white house and the congress and they blew it. Socialism is a very very bad thing, but as Warren Buffet said, "why is my tax rate lower then my secretary's rate?"
