We all seem to agree that the FGT is timeless beauty. This question has nothing to do with performance, just body style. What cars do you look at now and think, damn, that car is still as awesome as it was the first time I saw it.

For me I have two, and I guess I am partial to them because I owned them. I have always thought the NSX had a timeless body and I am also very partial to the 850CSI. Both of those cars still get me looking if I see them out on the roads.

......and I am a bit partial to any of James Bonds cars......except the BMW Z3 and the 740. What were they thinking in those movies?? :lol :cheers

Damn, who are you? I still have my NSX, the longest I've owned a car, still love driving it. The 850CSI, I was just talking to a friend of mine that has one, he's thinking of selling it, trying to talk him out of selling it, cause I'm tempted to buy it, and have no place to put it, and my wife would kill me. !!!

...and the Lotus. That car did nothing for me.

But, to answer your question: The Stude Avanti certainly should qualify, IMO. And, of course, it goes w/o saying that the street version of the GT40 certainly would.

Only a fool would sell a timeless car without even driving it! :lol

The only car that shares the same spot in my heart for style as the GT40 and Ford GT is the '67 (or any 63-67) convert Vet. Number 4 isn't even close.

Early sixties Ferrari California Spyder, 69-73 Ferrari Daytona Spyder, 63-67 Corvette cpe or convertible, 68-72 Corvette cpe or Convertible, XKE Jaguar Roadster, 30's Duesenberg, 72-89 MB SL (prefer the 450SL) not very collectible but to me a very aesthetically appealing car, mid 50's MB Gullwing (defintely not the new one).

+1

250 Lusso
330 GTC
280 SL
Muira SV
Z8
512BBi
288 GTO
FGT

In no particular order.

Also love the 63-67 Vettes mentioned
Early Camaros, Firbirds and Mustangs

Owned a 94 850 CSi Blk/Blk. It was heavy but very beautiful in person

Pantera. Still looks timeless with or without L bumpers.
XKE. '67-68 Eldo. '69-71 Lincoln MkIII. Still wish Lincoln would update the MkIII.

I agree on the Pantera, Love the 74 in white.
70 Boss mustangs, 429 would be my favorite.
I think the Enzo Ferrari and the F40 are aging well.
Lotus elite? from a few years back.

I have a '73L in white with 13,000 original miles. Still has the original Goodyear Arriva's on the rear.
