Well, its going to take some time, BUT , we might have a location for the GT MUSEUM!:thumbsup One of my dear friends Howie Lucas from lucas ford has an original 1930's dealership building, old window front and 4 bays round back with the panes of glass. Since he has moved down the block to a new facility and owns both properties and a full depression is on, we are working out how to pay for the up keep in taxes etc. If all works out we can hold up to 25 cars, have our own lifts, alarmed heated /a/c building .:thumbsup Looks like I will call all of you tri state guys to see who would want in first, cost of partial rent and all the rest.........:thumbsup by all chipping in and opening certain time of the year, it can be a mecca to drive to , then turning into a retreat for gt's for the winter months :thumbsup WHAT SAY ALL OF YOU? The location is dead center of wine country on the north fork of long island! Email , call , all the rest , my house is over flowing with GT archives/parts/memorabilia and cars.....Also thinking of saleen/steeda/rousch/shelby guys too as long as it is connected to ford.....enjoy gtjoey 1314:thumbsup

Why would you put a GT museum in New York? The GT has absolutely nothing to do with New York.

If you want to build a shrine to GT, do it in Detroit. You can get an industrial building for nothing here. In fact, you could probably get a building within 1 mile of the original build facility in Troy at this point, and you could get it beyond cheap. Like, close to free. If there's one thing we have here, it's excess industrial space. Not to mention, everyone from the GT program would be within 20 miles.

Just a thought.

DBK - he's on a roll............ let him run. He's in a FGT state of mind now... More of a GTJoey state of mind actually. Like when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbour.......... :rofl

You know where you could put it? Upstairs at Camilo's place. I think he has about 16,000 sq/ft up there for lease. I'll even help clean up the bird shit. :lol

I can always franchise my friend!!!!!!!!!!! :biggrin
Plus if you can belive it we can have a local museum with no UAW and make money without borrowing 15 billion to get it started!!!! but thats a NEW YORK THING.......:thumbsup :lolaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh:lol
This reminds me of when we started our first olive oil company , NO GOVERMENT INVOLVEMENT.......:thumbsup

ENJOY!!!!! STAGE 1 OF 50 STATE GT MUSEUM TO COME!!!!! HAVE IT YOUR WAY , HAVE IT YOUR WAY OH THATS BURGER KING........

And so is scamming $50 billion in a Ponzi scheme while your buddies beg for $700 billion behind closed doors after wiping out trillions in equity selling paper none of the players understand! If you can believe it, it only took two companies with Manhattan adresses to beg for $486 billion from the Treasury to get re-started! :thumbsup :biggrin

Spirit -

It was formerly called Never, Never Land, but Michal Jackson held the copy right, so they had to change the name. Rumored to be a really good place to get deal on those wooden ball seat covers. Not good for much else.

I searched Google for "New York" a while ago. Still waiting for a reply.

Northern Long Island? Hey we could do a track day at Bridgehampton!, oh wait it is somthng like a golf course now..... Did the golf course ever get done?

I would love to come down and visit!

I'm starting my own GT museum .. It's the South Florida Branch ... :rofl
