From A.J Baime, noted author of Go Like Hell, who has driven all 3 generations of Ford GT.

Good write up, but he did get the number wrong.

A total of 2,022 were built over two years, according to Ford, the most popular colors being red (765), white (504), and blue (265).

Nice!

P/R Embargo?? :rofl

I want to be AJ when I grow up?? :lol

Enjoyed that. Endorsements for every generation really. Recognizing that Ford continues to improve the GT each time it is designed. Even though the previous generation is already considered the very best. Nice.

Great article and covers history for those that don't know.

You can only have one (1) Vince, which one is it going to be? ;-)

Great first road test article.

Fine I'll take one . . . . . . of each! Haha!

Great read. Looking forward to experiencing all of that myself.

maybe it was released too early?

I'm guessing the Playboy privileges ended up not applying. :lol

I saw the article earlier this morning, but the magazine must have posted it before the official date. Maybe they will fix some of the errors too.

I used to hear from AJ but haven't heard for a while and he hasn't been at Playboy for quite a while (I think before they changed their format). Did anyone watch the semi-documentary on Amazon?

It just keeps getting better and better!

Article is on-line. Either Autoblog or Petrolicious. Or I don't remember.

Did anyone save a copy or picture of the write up?

That was definitely a screw up. Nobody has privileges to break the embargo (except "Joey" and Top Gear). I think they yanked it (as they should have).

And if they didn't I'm going to post my story. As the saying goes, "I never want to be the first to break an embargo. And I never want to be the third."
