Someone Trying To Log In To Forum Using My Name

I just received this email an hour ago. It wasn't me trying to log in & that isn't my IP address. How can we track who it it?

I didn't want to pay an online tracking site fee so I was hoping somewhere here as access to that service already.

The IP host is SURFnet in the Netherlands. Google it. There's a name and phone for the admin.

Hi Ed, I have had the same thing happen to me a few times and both times it was someone in China. Looks like the IP address you posted is from Holland/Netherlands, It might be worth a trip to Amsterdam to see who this is :wink

It's a bot. Really nothing you can do about it but wait until it makes it through the list and calls it quits. It'll try a couple common passwords, get locked out, and that's the end of it.

Annoying, but unless your password is 12345 or something, harmless.
