Guys, I'm running a mile style event this weekend. http://www.zrauto.ca/race-base-challenge.php The runway is 2.4 miles long.
So I have Four question's as the others will likely be answered by the organizers at the event.
1. What is correct tire pressure should be for such an event?? Any advice? I'm running the wider bridgestones, and I can't be bothered to swap back to the 'skinnier' GY's (especially as they've got very little tread left.....)
2. Is it REALLY worth it to "tape up" my car's seams? Maybe I'll just take off the wipers......
3. If 103 and 108 octane is available, how much existing gas can I have in the tank before it's safe to go to a 100 octane file?
4. Following up on Tom's thread about tire warming, how much would you attempt to warm the tires before the run?
Thanks in advance. And wish me luck!!!!!! :banana
