Reckon the wheels don't quite fill the arches right in std form

Any of you guys that have changed you wheels please post photo and wheel and tyre spec/sizes.

Would be a great help.

I need a change to complete the new look.

Try sourcing UK wheel manufacturers for the "Hallibrand" Retro-look. Vey '60's and in keeping with the car's original design.
Post pics, should you have success in finding something appropriate.

suggest you use the search function. There are HUNDREDS of threads on wheels and tires including calculators that show impact on MPH with different aspect ration of tires. :cheers

agree the flat black stripes are badass, are they painted on or are the vinyl? I also think you should lower the car it will make it look completely different even with the same wheels:thumbsup

My plan was to get the wheels coated matt black and the car lowered and uprated....This is what started me on the possible wheel search

Your black stripes look fantastic! Check out the black BBS wheels that I had powder coated.

They look GREAT!! I had just obtained a brand new (100 miles) set of 10 Spoke BBS. They're being done in black right now, and my buddy with the black GT is taking them from me. Love your bumper delete too.

Kendall, your son's Suby is probably the most photographed car on this forum!! It's in EVERY picture on your drive! :lol

Yes I like the Dymags, Any pics of the GT wearing them? are the sizes and offsets the same as stock?

The offsets are the same as stock. The rear wheels are a half inch wider. Other than that, they're the same. Did I mention they're LIGHT? :biggrin

Here's a pic of a heritage (not mine) with the old style barrels (different resin which didn't stay black very well - FWIW, Dymag FULLY warranted those wheels, which apart from the cosmetic colouring, were not damaged at all) to the new barrels!! :thumbsup), and a GTX with silver finished centers.

As a note of Interest HRE will be introducing a line of CF wheels very soon. They use the Dymag barrels but thier own hubs.. They will have some nice hub options. The Dymags are limited to the 9 spoke model,,

I forgot about that. Very true. I really like the look of the new P40 (at least on 911's). I wonder what that will look like with CF barrels and mounted on a GT? :thumbsup

Here is what mine looks like from last summer, the power coat is actually a "crinkle", which I personally prefer over a gloss finish. Pulled the stripes this past winter. drove it for the 1st time today, since November to get an inspection sticker......

how light?

i noticed on another forum that HRE is releasing their carbon fiber wheels. think it was a joint effort with dynamag. waiting to hear on weight savings...
