Maybe it's got a v-12, and 1 plus 2 seating.... Electrically actuated brakes, laser headlights.

And it drives itself for you. And uses 1.21 giggawatts.....

Between the Petunia project and whatever the internal name for this thing is, someone ought to write a book on how you get several hundred people to stay tight lipped about these projects. In the classified world they threaten you with imprisonment - maybe they can learn something from Ford. Gotta admit they've done a good job keeping this behind closed doors till now.

at 51 seconds in the 4th video there is a fuel door in the fender... No proper Ford GT replacement would ever have that.

Sadly, I'm guessing its the next Mustang Cobra or Shelby 350. :-(

As you may imagine, the capital investment and lead time associated with bringing a new product to market is EXPENSIVE. In times past you could go to remote locations and test at off times on the clock. You only had to worry about Popular Science finding you out.

Now with automotive paparazzi prevelant, I am thinking about opening a new business here in Detroit - Allen Park Tent and Awning dedicated to providing more exotic versions of todays vinyl camoflage for future model programs. ;-))
