Sarah Palin to be McCain VP Pick

Only good news out of Detroit today is what occurred in a court room with your former mayor...... no further comment.

Please, it's all good news. We wouldn't have the dirty city any other way. :lol

well I was duped.... oh well, still like the pictures I posted...

First smart car kit frauds - now THIS!!!!!

What's this world coming to? :ack

Palin has better legs, and you can see the merging line of the photograft along the lower neck. I would give half of bony's yearly salary to see her naked with Obama in the shower!

Shopped picture by pool with gun can't be her. The rifle is a Crossman .177 pellet gun. Mrs. Palin strikes me as a .308 or .30-06 type, maybe even a .300Weatherby for the moose. (Uh oh, another gun topic...)

It's going to be an extreme uphill battle. There are massive forces at work against the Republican ticket.

You don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure out the difference in coverage, especially in the soft stories aimed at Grocery going Moms and people who aren't students of political process:

And which one of these people went to a hate-filled church that believes the white US Government created AIDS to kill the black man, launched his political career in the house of a violent radical, and has a wife who is proud to be an American for the first time in her life because her husband is running for President? I don't think Obama is the worst guy in the world, but the dichotomy in the coverage is stunning, from lame rags to CNN to everywhere in between. This is one fubar country when it comes to the politics of self-loathing.

And hey Rick, funny you should post those! I was doing the same thing this weekend, only in Detroit, without kids, surrounded by crackheads, attempting to stay alive after 60 years of Democratic rule! :lol

Hockey Moms Break Out Their Canceling Sticks Over Us Weekly's Sarah Palin Cover

Sarah Palin Us Magazine
Us Magazine
(Sept. 5) -- Sarah Palin not only won over the hockey moms with her Republican National convention speech -- she won over the tabloid reading crowd. Subscribers of Us Weekly, who somehow are not yet familiar with the tabloid's record of taste and accuracy, are canceling their subscriptions en masse after this week's Sarah Palin cover story with the blaring headline "Babies, Lies & Scandal."
MSNBC's Scoop is reporting that the magazine "is said to have lost thousands of subscribers in just the first 24 hours following the printing of the issue." A well-placed industry source told MSNBC that he or she is "hearing it's 5,000, maybe more" cancellations, while another said it may be closer to 10,000.

A spokesperson for Wenner Media, who publishes Us, said "it is completely false that we are losing 10,000 subscribers," and also denied the 5,000 cancellation rumor.
What US likely didn't expect was a complete 180 by Palin and the McCain campaign. "When Us went to print Monday night, it looked like the ticket was falling apart," an unnamed magazine editor said. "They went to print thinking Palin was dead in the water."

Gentlemen,

I wish that I did subscribe to that bird cage liner just so I could cancel it.

OPRAH'S STATEMENT: "The item in today's Drudge Report is categorically untrue. There has been absolutely no discussion about having Sarah Palin on my show. At the beginning of this Presidential campaign when I decided that I was going to take my first public stance in support of a candidate, I made the decision not to use my show as a platform for any of the candidates. I agree that Sarah Palin would be a fantastic interview, and I would love to have her on after the campaign is over."

BIG DILEMMA: OPRAH BALKS AT HOSTING SARAH PALIN; STAFF DIVIDED
Fri Sep 05 2008 08:55:46 ET

Oprah Winfrey may have introduced Democrat Barack Obama to the women of America -- but the talkshow queen is not rushing to embrace the first woman on a Republican presidential ticket!

Oprah's staff is sharply divided on the merits of booking Sarah Palin, sources tell the DRUDGE REPORT.

"Half of her staff really wants Sarah Palin on," an insider explains. "Oprah's website is getting tons of requests to put her on, but Oprah and a couple of her top people are adamantly against it because of Obama."

One executive close to Winfrey is warning any Palin ban could ignite a dramatic backlash!

It is not clear if Oprah has softened her position after watching Palin's historic convention speech.

Last year, Winfrey blocked an appearance by Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, timed to a promotional tour of his autobiography.

Oprah and executive producer Sheri Salata, who has contributed thousands of dollars to Obama's campaign, refused requests for comment.

The last time I had ordered a magazine subscription, all I had to do is provide an address and that they would bill me later.

Soooooooooo, what if someone I do not know, nor have an association with, went to a pay phone and ordered a US magazine and gave them the DNC address or better yet Mr. Obama's home address and used a name like: "STU P. IDASS"
