Rally III News - Who's Coming?

Since you missed Rallies 1 and 2 you appear to be unfamiliar with the GT Forums Rally "nanny program" for those members with wives and kids. Two years of experimentation have clearly shown that using the "rally nannies" is easier and much more fun at these events if you leave your wife and kids at home! :banana :banana :banana

Timmy was at the 1st one, the only kid/baby there and he was 6 months old... no problems.. He was at the 2nd one too @18 months...never a problem..But now we are heading to VEGAS... and what happens there sta..... maybe it's best for the wife and kid to stay home

Tim - bring the wife and little Timmy. My wife Margaret and I and daughter Megan would be dissappointed if they could not see the whole family again this year.
IMHO I think the wives and kids add to the fun of the Rally. (It also helps long term in being able to add 'toys to the toybox/garage" and attending cross country events like the Annual GT Forum Rallys.)

Our whole family wants to come. Of course their schedules may not jibe. My oldest son, who is married met us in Vegas at the end of the rally last year, and wants to come with his wife this year if they are able. I am certain my wife, and at least one of the boys will be there with me.

We're in for Vegas in September. This will be a combination air, ocean and road trip for us. Someone asked which hotel is being considered. The good news is that there are so many great ones. High on this list has to be who can best accommodate our FGTs.

Our last three trips over the past few months have stayed at Bellagio, Wynn and Four Seasons. Long hike from the parking garage to Bellagio rooms. Always used the valet at the Four Seasons so don't recall the proximity of the garage. Have stayed a number of times at the Wynn and it's a relatively short walk to the Tower suites. Perhaps they can block off part of one of the parking floors for us. Some great drives there to Red Rock Canyon....wait a minute, there's another idea. The newest "local" hotel/casino is Red Rock. I've never stayed there but have eaten at Red Rock a few times and it seems like a decent place. It's off of West Charleston so a few miles west off the Strip. There are a number of advantages to being away from the Strip (especially with our cars), but I'm sure most who don't regularly hang in Vegas would prefer the crazy action.

BTY, the garage at Four Seasons is probably the closest of any in Vegas, just outside the door. Huge truck parking lot just outside as well, within one block and in-sight of the door. Perfect in my opinion.

Yeah, I know Gordon's wife just had a baby, which puts a damper on partying. Bart hasn't been around for a while either. Hey guys come on out to play!
