Appears the hotel is booked? I can make this drive in 5 hours...I may just take her for a spin.

Yes, our hotel block of 100 rooms was booked entirely in a week.

At this time, they are unwillingly to give me any additional rooms for the block. That's a bummer because our group rate is $169 per night and the regular rate for those dates booked through the hotel website is now $369 per night. Ouch.

I will make the "official" rally registration post and e-mail blast tomorrow. My recommendation for those that register for the event that do not have a hotel room at The Henry is to not book a hotel for the next couple of weeks. I'm going to make another run at the hotel to try and get additional rooms. There are plenty of rooms nearby but it's nicer to have everyone at the same spot.

Registration wasn't even supposed to be up yet! I was testing the registration plugin and Vince H used ninja magic to register in the 30 minute window I had it up. Too late to bring it down now, but I'm trying to get the traditional "who's in" post up this afternoon.

On the plus side, we're already at nearly 50 cars paid and the event hasn't even been officially announced. :lol
