Protection for Drivers Storage Compartment

I tend to kick the storage compartment infront of the drivers seat. Has any one come up with creative protective solutions?

How long can painters tape be left on?

Take it out? I find that I don't use it.

I have taken it out (seat bottom removal) but I put it back in (after PPF). Now 2 year later, I have never put anything in it, and occasionally bump it with my left heel, when driving. Therefore have thought about taking it out. FWIW, its 2 small hex or torx screws on the back wall of the compartment. They are hard to see.

I keep car registration, insurance card and door opener in it. Haven't had any problems. You had better clear it with the wife before you do anything.

Carbon Series cars don't have that problem because we did not get that compartment. We also did not get the cup holders.

Yes, which is why there is nothing in my compartment.

As previously stated.The Carbon Series did not come with the storage bin.I put one in and find ir great to store a few small bits like my door opener reg and wallet

Where have you been Dr Frank? Shmee told us about it last year when he took his seats out! He even posted photos & kept his documents in it while traveling across the US!
