Nice leisurely drive.

Okay...I'm gunna show my ignorance - again - and ask: What are the 'blinking' tail lights all about? Does that indicate a rookie driver, or what?

I was wondering the same thing. They all look to be racing class cars so I don't think it's a bunch of civilians. Rookie might be it.

That is how LED lights look when shot with a video camera. To our eye, LED's "blink" faster than our eyes can percieve.

Take your digital camera and look at our taillights through the LCD "view finder" when they are lit.

Aaaaaaaaah. That would never have occurred to me in a hundred years! :lol

That about how long you been looking at tail lights in your garage. :lol

I got exhausted just watching it. Full screen and a big monitor makes it pretty intense. The driver is a beast!

A long time ago I discovered that the Ford GT's LEDs appear to run sequentially in a circular motion when shot with a GoPro. Really strange looking.

Are you sure that's not an interior shot of a stock ZL1?

GM would never take a ZL1 in white and claim it to be oem stock just for marketing purposes....or would they?

With Hitler driving?

For those following the other topic about loss of control on the GT and the discussion of trailing throttle oversteer (or throttle lift off) or compression braking watch the driver. I'm not going to watch it again to see, but I don't recall him just doing a throttle lift off to slow down. It's always a clutch down, throttle blip, downshift... Like I said in the original I wish we could have seen his foot action.

Oh and that trans/shifter is awesome !

Having driven the "Ring," I was totally impressed with this driver - he started near the back of the pack, and within 2 laps, he's up on the tail of the race leader. This guy has a lot of talent, knowledge of the track and a great car under him - wow, what a drive! I'd like to know how the race ended.

:cheers
