After leaving Rally V, we loaded up the hauler and headed West to our new base camp in Asheville, NC. We had a multi-day film production in the mountains North and Northwest of Ashville, NC and into Tennessee.

We did not do the "cliche" Blue Ridge Parkway for several reasons. The roads "TeamJeff" (Producer) did choose were spectacular drives with curvy, elevation changing roads. The views were incredible of both the countryside and the local, hidden spots which seemed like advertising agencies would drool over.

The following are just a few of the still pictures which were taken over the three days. We will upload more within the coming week. Enjoy!

This happened by chance in the backwoods of Tennessee. This was not "staged". This "old timer" came out of his shack when we pulled up to see what was going on.

Awesome! :)

Really great shots! I see a Joy Ride calendar in the future :thumbsup

Cool shots!!! I especially like the first and third ones.

Great shots!! My favorite one is the second one with the old guy coming out. :thumbsup

Yeah, that second one is awesome.

Second photo rates a 10. Should make a larger print...I would buy one.

WOW great job, sorry Garrett and I could only be there with you guys the whole time. The pictures are great!

We'll figure something out guys. Not sure about making calendars? Not here to compete with the good Camilo and DBK. And it's not really our biz. Maybe large prints is the way to go?

BTW, I'm a huge fan of the second one. I too like the contrast of the "old and new". Plus the colors just 'rock'! We plan to make a large print for the JOYRIDE offices.

Those are some really great looking shots.

Very nice photos! However, the best road I have ever been on is Hwy 8 East off the Blue Ridge Parkway. It has the most radical banked turns on any public road. The BRP is only a 45 mph National Park road but the roads that connect to it are fabulous.

I would love to get a hi-res shot of the second photo ...PLEASE.... [email protected]....
