That great day in Jan 2008 when I purchased my new 2006 (late july 2006 manufacture) in southwestern virginia. Had been a showroom traffic builder for the last year and a half

I've been meaning to get around to posting a few photos after I bought my car. I'm not big on taking pics of myself, as some of you may have noticed from my cross-country trip to Rally XII travelogue. However, my daughter wanted to use the GT as a prop for one of her fashion shoots. She's way more photogenic than I am! The shot of the car in the showroom actually is the day I bought it.

Bought my GT new in April 2006, imported from Geiger Cars Munich (nice guy on the last picture), and drove it home to Berlin. Nice story on that day - on the highway, half way done, the cops stopped me and forced me (please follow:eek to drive and exit on the next parking area. After checking my papers and strolling around the car - one of the two young cops came back, smirking. He had never seen a car like that he said (he did not even know that this was a Ford) and would like to kindly ask if he can take a picture of the car...:lol
And I thought it was the flooring sequence I had tried shortly before..

Still in love with this car. Will never sell it I guess and no need for a new one :frown
