Other than the GT what 6 cylinder vehicles would you want in your garage/collection?

So you are not thrilled about a six cylinder in next years GT and on top of that the reported price is expected to be 400K. In addition there is the overwhelming expectation on it's scarcity due to low production numbers.

So I ask what other 6 cylinder vehicles would you like in your garage/collection?

I'll start with a favorite TVR Tuscan or Cerbera. I've had several memorable drives years ago starting outside London and ending up in the beautiful Welsh countryside where a friend has a large estate/farm. This is the car you hear "over the hills and far away" before you can see it. I raced my bro Cozy once in one of Bonzo's Jensens and he drove a Griffith(V8) and we carved many roads in Wales along the way.

I know someone is going to list a certain Jag, a rice burner and of course the Porsche guys. lol

Just curious what you would collect.

On the lighter side maybe Ford can put two ecoboosts together and make a boxer engine? Another one of my favorites a 512 Boxer. Or maybe Ford can put a smaller ecoboost on the front axle and obtain some great pulling power out of the corners as the 918 does so brilliantly. :eek You would think for 400K there might be some secret weapon Ford has not announced yet.

Are you going to get a FGT?

I'm wondering why you are even posing these questions.

What do they have to do with Ford GTs?

Ok. So? Yeah, I've driven all over the UK too. It's nice.

Please bring the storm. It's rather dry here. On a positive note, that is good for my martini.

Z-E-R-O. Including the new FGT.

'Sorry...but, as I've stated B4, as far as supercars/exotics are concerned, anything powered by other than a V8 or larger just doesn't 'cut it' in that category IMHO. (That's my own personal preference/bias/opinion. And I make NO apologies for that.)

V6 daily drivers? No problem-o. Shoot...even the all-electric Tesla "S" is just fine with me in the D.D. category. :wink

SUE me...:mad

Remember that even the early Corvettes and T-birds weren't sport cars, they were touring cars. V8s or not, they weren't performance wonders.

Neither was the AC Ace. Until CS decided to pump it up a little.

If being given (I would not buy but would enjoy having), and cost no issue....

959, or some other rare Porsche (speedsters, turbos GT-3's), granted its more of a flat 6, but still a 6.

Dino, to be able to ride the huge appreciation that seems to be happening.

NSX for sure. A Zenardi edition.

Jag XJ220

Radical RXC

Cadillac Cimarron (just to see if anyone is paying attention)

Honorable Mentions, in the non V-8 catagory

Audi Quattros with the I5

BMW M-1 (and many other notable BMW straight 6's)

Im totally over my initial issues with the GT being a V-6. Prefer an 8? Of course, but we are in a different era. BTW Im also over the fact it wont have 3 pedals (which I will miss more than a V-8).

A RAM megacab diesel dually (2013 with a Cummins 6) is the only 6 cylinder I have ever owned.

I'd also take perfectly restored/maintained '73 911RS. And a Honda CBX.
