I like it!

But not at the price I would have to pay for it.

I like them too, but I would rather have a clone built to much higher standards and be able to actually drive it.

:agree:

If I owned that car I drive it as much as EP would.

The problem with old cars ,is they drive like old cars!

they drive like old cars!

Or more like farm trucks.

Many years ago a friend and I went to check out a Challenger of the same era. Taking it for a test drive on the section of CA Hwy 1 from Pacifica to I280 and back. That car must of have the original suspension parts. It was scary doing 60 on that road! My friend passed ont the car and ended up buying a 1965 Fastback Mustang.

BTW beautiful scency on that section of road.

If you grew up during the muscle car era - like I did, this is the top of the heap........IMHO!

I am not too far behind.

Not saying it isn't valuable, but that price?

I would rather have your Boss 429. The dash, headliner and the front headlight wouldn't fall off when you shut the door. :lol

i bet you a dime the gauges still work

i bet you a dime the gauges still work

And if they did break, replacements would cost $1000!

Gee Ed - I didn't think you ever grew up.

Agree this was a Top Shelf "unobtainable" car when new.

Having a 70 Challenger R/T as my first car, I don't recall them handling bad at all. Mine had a 340 instead if a big block which may have helped but it handled pretty decently from what I remember. The steering what a vague but about every american car of that era had vague steering. The Hemi cars were going for xrazy money for awhile but seem to have fallen in the last couple years. This seems pretty high. Then again, if someone will pay it...

Judi Dench's face and comments in the last Bond when they were bumping along in the DB5 says it all to me about old cars. Roketman has it right, they handle like old cars. Great to look at but lacking in the driving experience department.

I could buy almost 3 of these for that money...go much faster and quicker than the Cuda - and save a bundle on fuel - LOL

I couldn't agree more.
And those dual quads drain down every night....
Started up my B9 yesterday and felt like a kid.
