White/Blue 2005 GT
I understand the mileage question, when purchasing a GT because I went through the same process before making my decision. I took delivery of a great condition white/blue 2005 on 3/31/2010 that had 8,000 miles. I purchased from Lamborghini of Houston. I have a black 2001 BMW Z8 that I purchased in March 2003 with just 200 miles, so the 8,000 on the GT was a bit more than I originally planned, but I only wanted a white car, the price was by my estimation very fair and included shipping, and the dealer made the purchase easy and delivered the car to me in NJ very quickly. I immediately brought the car into a Ford SVT dealer and did the most updated flange bolt fix (no record of the previous owner having it done), changed the battery, oil, fuel filter, and had them go over the entire car. Even the original tires still have 70% tread. When the car was first delivered the oil pressure gauge did not work and was replaced, and Lamborgini Houston agreed to pay me back for the gauge and installation. Like my Z8 (now 16,000 miles), I plan on keeping the GT for ever and am very happy with my purchase.
When I received the GT, I let a close friend drive it for a few minutes, and he fell in love and had to have one. He has a recent 911 Turbo. I helped him do a search, and he bought a 2005 White/Blue with only 1,120 miles from Shelby. Perfect car, bolts and all other service bulletins already done. Mine made 4/05, his 8/05. His 100% identical and to mine in every detail, except when you start the cars and look at the mileage display and about $23,000 difference in original purchase price. My friend is also very happy with his purchase. We both plan on driving and keeping our cars for ever, so the mileage question is very debateable and personal.
