Good thing you listened to everyone here.

The funny thing is... blue was my first choice but it was suggested that white would look better. Glad I made the change. Thanks for all of the input.

Can Pockets pick a color, or what! :rofl :cheers

Awsum!!

Blue was my pick. Where do I send the bill?!?! :biggrin

Blue looks better than White on your car for sure...good choice.

Looks beautiful!!! I may have missed it, but where did you get the knock offs that fit? Thanks.

The hubs and wheel nut covers were custom made for the wheels by a friend that owns a machine shop and the spinners were purchased from another source. They actually have the GT logo engraved on top of the spinners. I then had them painted to match the stripes.

Looks great! :thumbsup

I actually thought the white ones looked ok. The blue ones do look better though. :cheers

I love em too, Jerry. They are very reminiscent of the original 60's GT wheels. :thumbsup

Well... it's not just a set of knockoffs, there are two other parts on each wheel that have to be manufactured in order to install them along with some modifications to the OEM wheels in order to attach them. There are still some small adjustments to make before they are 100%.

The GT tax on this item could make them the most expensive aftermarket item to date :willy:willy

VERY nice

Takes care

Congratulations on being a vanguard, Jerry. They look great. I would love to see a close-up of the spinner on the threaded sleeve.

I actually didn't come up with the idea. I bought them from a friend that sold their GT. All of the wheels were polished and I thought they didn't show off the look of the wheels. That's when I decided to paint the spokes like the one I had seen on this site on Chris's gulf GT.

I will try and get a few shots of the wheels up close when I have time.

With the exception for the "GT" engraved on 'em, these look almost exactly the same as the ones I'm going to put with the chrome wheels destined for installation on my '60 Impala.

Needless to say - Me likey.
