All right, so I'm doing research for my new job and it required having my own specs to give to a car builder for a show I'm producing. So, last week on my lunch break,,, this is what I got to do......

Lots OOOOO fun...

What's the tire/brakes/drivetrain budget? Three, mebbe four MILLION? :lol

makes me want to go buy an old camaro! good luck with the new job .... lucky bast.... :lol

Tim you were supposed to do the donuts around the barrels.

The guy who built the car and has numerous hours on her was going around the barrels.. about 1-2 feet from my wife's car and others in the street. I opted for the wider parts of the street as it was my 1st time in this particular car.. 640hp and about 2200lbs of stripped car.. Buddy owns a race shop and most of the street as well as being in good with the local P.D.

Just wanted anyone to know who might question the rowdy-ness of this video. The most controlled environment at the considering it was somewhat spontaneous...:confused

I'll find the footage of the barrels and the close-ness to the cars

back lot fun??? nice!

Verrrrry cool Tim... Was little Timmy in the car to ?????

It must be tough to have a job that is no fun!!! :wink

Glad to hear (and see) things are going well. :cheers

Fun Stuff Tim:thumbsup

Looks like you are really cranking up up the rear brake bias. She sure turns nice that way.

the car had 2 dedicated breaking systems. 2 separate pedals. 1 for the rear brakes for 100% lock-up and 1 for the front for controlled drifts... we just weren't on a track to work on the typical drift maneuvers you normally see...

Hey Tim, I did not know you were buddies with Sammy Maloof!
I've known Sammy for about 8 years, he built the engine in my 70 Boss 302.
Glad to see the Barrel Racing idea is still going strong.

I notice Timmy hasn't posted in 3 months. Anyone know if how how is doing?

My guess is he's busier than a one armed 'paper hanger in a building boom.
