I sat in Nick’s in Utah with the seat pad removed and that little Sparco pad installed and had enough room, probably even room for a helmet. Somebody said that they’ll be manufacturing a “proper” competition-type seat pad?

Client of mine that works for Ford sent me pics a few weeks ago of his Black Label L - interior is just ridiculously nice.

And they’re practical:1,000# deer feed in back! LOL!

We got our Platinum Expedition last Saturday and it is terrific! Most importantly, Martha loves it!

What I found most interesting about this column is the age variance of buyers, & they’re all spending big $$$:

The new Navigator interior is as good as the best of the best on the market. As good as or possibly better than Rolls Royce, Bentley, Range Rover, etc. That is my initial impression. Well done Ford / Lincoln. An increase in power with more aggressive wheels, Brembo brakes, etc. is what our clients want.

And more Aviator news. If it looks as good as it does here, they’ll be selling like hot cakes:

How was your first class flight on Delta? Did you drink champagne? The new Nav looks great. How is the black label service?

Nice... Gin and tonic.
The black label experience has been wonderful! And it’s going to continue on our trip home as they have prepared some stopping points along the way for us.

Well Renee is very happy with her new ride. The first of March she took delivery of her Expiation Max Platinum ride, was on order to 3 1/2 months but well worth the wait. Now all the grandkids have their own seat and all is good. Love the White-Gold color, looks great and is easy to keep clean. All options except DVD players. Really nice unit!

Couldn’t persuade Roz to get a Navigator, but she was quite taken with the new Aviator that we saw at the NYC auto show, a good looking car

Just discovered a neat feature. When you use voice to text, the Nav turns the ac fan speed to low while you speak, then returns back to its original setting when talking is finished. I will say that the Bluetooth in this car, along with other Ford products is among the best out there, and blows the Mercedes Bluetooth out of the water!
