As soon as I get done with the GT. I'm going to start saving my pennies for this:

Mark we have missed you at the last couple rallys.

Just WHEN do you think your GT will be finished and you can display the final product to us at a rally????:biggrin

If you like that "jewelry" deal take a look at a Spyker. Very similar look and much more attainable.

Pagani Huayra

Wonder if it is the same car that I have seen both at Sema, and during auction week in Scottsdale 2014.

It is the same. There is only one show car in the northern hemisphere.

I thought my GT would be done in 2012... so what I think doesn't really play into the equation. I am looking forward to my next rally.

The Spyker is a really cool car. Although not even on the same playing field as the Pagani. I was just kidding about buying one. It is so far out of my budget that I figured most would just find it laughable.

Mullet, you will have to call my wife about those. She has been in charge of them for the last decade or so.

I appreciate Pagani for what they've been able to achieve as a small volume maker, but personally, I do not find the Huayra desirable. Those steampunk interiors have never appealed to me, and I think it's got an odd shape and weird wheels. That said, I could definitely live with a weird interior in trade for the racket a Zonda R makes. Holy schnikees...

Either way, it's still cool just to be able get up close and personal with one.

I like the interior especially the open mechanicals of the pedals and shifter. I'm not a great fan of the clear coated carbon fiber. I know that on a real race car paint adds weight but i don't find raw CF attractive.

I suppose on this car the top mounted gopro camera is a 50K option :)

I don't know about the GoPro but Pagani uses a Carbon-Titanium weave that is stronger and lighter than regular carbon fiber (so they say), plus it sparkles.

I still find it strange that they drive these cars and never wear a helmet.

Those steampunk interiors .

Perfect!

I was looking thru the crevices of my head to find the right descriptive, that is it.

Agreed, great engineering, killer motor, just not......that desirable to me either.

Plus, out of my financial league.

The CF body looks incredible in person, or at least to me. And the reasons for the go pros? It was in the go pro booth at sema last year.

I wonder if it is the owner of GoPro considering it was in their booth and he's a big car guy (he's had his personal cars in booths in the past as I talked to him years ago at a show when he had his Superformance GT40 there).
