Well, my 2005 Black/Silver Stripes FGT arrived today from Shelby at Elite Auto LLC and, as always, it was just as described...Gorgeous with 1580 miles. This is the second car I have purchased from Shelby in the last 3 months and I must say that he is simply the straightest shooter I have ever known in the car business. He is nothing short of a pleasure to deal with and I am certain that we will be doing much more business in the future. He is the only person I trust to buy a supercar from sight unseen. Thank you, Shelby!
The excitement of the arrival of this monstrous beast was almost too much to bear. Seeing it inside of the the covered delivery trailer and watching the driver getting in through the window, contorting his body like a circus performer just to get into it was a lesson in art all by itself. Watching the car coming out of the trailer was a nerve racking experience! But once it was out, all I can say is...WOW!!! What a Gorgeous work of art. That retro styling is just interesting to me. Once I got comfortable inside it, I took it for a 40 mile spin. What a great drive, very smooth, great steering, phenomenal power with a great gear box. I'm not really one to push a car too much, especially when I am just getting to know her, but...What a blast to drive! I am just loving it. Thanks to all of you for your kindness and
encouragement while answering all of my questions. The car got a pulley/tune, 4 new Bridgestones, and Ford Racing exhaust from Shelby. It sounds great, but not too loud for me and absolutely no drone. Me likey very much. Now, I hope to get to know some more FGT people in the metro Detroit area. Finally, I officially am a paying member of this forum as well. Again, thanks to all of you and I look forward to getting to know my new girl!
