My Dad Won a GT


If he brings it back to Illinois, he'll also pay 61/2% sales tax on a new vehicle before he can register it. That's about $10K, however, since the guzzler tax was included in the sales price, he's not paying for that, so that's like a $2100 savings.

$200 got you 240 tickets... It was $1 a ticket but once you bought $200 worth they gave you a 20% bonus.. hence 240 tickets

Talked to dad today, he was surprised at how low insurnce will be and I told him his x-mas present is a 4 post lift.

Just wanted to send out a thank you to all of you who posted on this thread and sent an e-mail to my dad. He should have the car sometime by the 1st week of this month and is extremely excited. He got on our site and read some threads and all of this one and was "to say the least(spelling??)" exccited,encouraged,overwhelmed and im-patient. Non-the less... Where are you in Chicago? I grew up in the suburbs and that's where my parents are..
