While we were waiting in the staging area of the Texas Mile I had the privilege to have some private chat time with Camilo. He is usually running around getting pulled here and there and signing stuff for us GT fanatics.
It started with basic inquiry about shifting and shift RPM's. He had asked me about my run and what I did and I asked him the same in return. After he told me about where he was shifting etc. I made my recommendations. Camilo made another run down the mile and when hey returned he was happy to report he made a 7 mph gain over his previous runs..!! :biggrin

He came over to check out Helenor. He was looking over the Project 321 caps in the engine bay and coil covers etc..
Than he sat in my car and was checking out the Project 321 sill plates and we were just talking back and forth.. He than asks me. " Where do I get the air for the ducts ? " I was puzzled by the question and than he pointed to my CF bottle holders. I explained what they were and I stated that I hope he didn't find it sacrilegious that I designed these and installed them because I knew they wanted a basic interior with no cup holders etc.. He Stated " we couldn't find the room " :wink
Camilo, If you want a Set of the Carbon Fiber Bottle holders I have a set for you. You'll just have to promise to install them in your GT ..:thumbsup

For those of you that don't already know this, Stormcat (Fastcat) was the fastest pulley and tune FGT at the TX mile during Rally IV! I don't think the 2nd was even close.

Zero out ACT Retard :lol:lol:lol:lol

Congratulations on the fastest times Brian, I did not know that.
Great Poster and sweet cupholders!

Secret may be in the TUNE!

Huh, Torrie!!!

Larry- I truely loved my SC Tune.

Just saw a 'Car Crazy' on Speed TV where Barry Meguiar was at Bonneville for Speedweek and had a brief interview with Camilo - it also showed a Heritage GT on the salt which I presume was his. Bonneville is a definite bucket list item.

:frown After Bonneville's Salt Flats, don't forget to drive your vehicle into a swimming pool and leave it there for a week or so, stirring occasionally. :frown
