Awesome story. Awesome pics. Awesome cars. Jerry is absolutely top notch. I am jealous that you guys got to go hang out and I was stuck here in Georgia. I can't wait to come out to Texas to get into a little trouble.

To Jerry. A great friend. :cheers

Thanks Gary!!!!!!! :cheers Cheers Brothaman!!!!!

Happy B-Day :banana

Many owners won't even let you sit in their cars...

Jerry, it's awesome to see you own the cars and the cars don't own you.

Props for sharing!

Great story!

Thanks Toby!!!!

It was an easy one.... I had two of the nicest car guy's around knock at
the door after driving cross country want to just hang out and
check out the cars.... One hell of a road trip they had.. Was most incredible
im sure!!!

DBK, I'm making an assumption here that you rode in Joe's TTGT at the rally. Did you notice a difference between those 2 different setups or are there too many other variables to compare them?

Hard to compare since it's been so long. Joe's car was definitely more violent in the acceleration department (from the passenger seat) because it had a couple hundred more horse. I think the Heff car is "only" like 800rwhp, and when I rode in Joe's it was around 1000. Either one is more than enough to get you in plenty of trouble :lol

This is the role that cool gals should play.

I am very happy for you; she is certainly an extreme gal limited only by her Papa.............. stretch her legs as I feel certain you do but always remember that even the best of gals can smack you around once in a while so be ready

Ha, Yeah a couple of times when full bost hit in 3rd due to the air / road temps the ass hung out in the triple digit range. Amazingly enough the car is so stable it has yet to really scare me. Then again I know what and what not to do when that situation occurs.

Rule number 1....... do not slam the brake...... if anything give her more "Go Juice" until the two of you are seeing eye to eye... LOL

But then I suspect that you have already had this talk with her

No sir; based on your gal I respecfully defer the Capn hat to you.

So; other than electing to maintain your own filling station have you ever looked back and regretted your decission?

Secondly; when not within arms reach of your persoanl filling station do you simply keep her out of the extreme exercising conditions or do you suppliment with small bottles of vitamins?

The term regret isn't in my pesonal dictionary. No the car is absolutely flawless setup like this. If you ever get me in person and ask me that question the way I react to it without saying a word spells it out.

I have close access to race gas and have mapped out stopping points if I venture out of town. That being said if I needed to drive the car cross country it would be extremely easy to turn the car down and go back to 93 octane in about a minute. I have 2 files for the car one for race gas and another for pump that I can reflash when and if I need to. Other then that I just limit boost to about 17-18psi.
