So the last episode is set and Camilo will be competing as a finalist for the $100k prize and Z/28 Camaro!

Camilo is flying back from LA to Detroit on Monday and we will be having a viewing party on the 26th at the garage to watch the finale. Please RSVP so I can have an accurate headcount, as the crowd will be bigger this time and it's likely we won't have enough space for everyone.

The show airs on Tuesday August 26th at 10 P.M. We will provide food and drinks again, so if you'd like to show up anytime after 8 P.M that is fine. I will try and ensure the food is there around 9.

So is there going to be a debriefing at the Rally? This is really cool. My recording gets delayed due to conflicts so I'll see tonights episode tomorrow.

Well, I have to say I had my doubts about the credibility of this series. But, this last episode was truly well done. To start, Bryan, the class act of the series, says how remarkable it is that he and Camilo, the seasoned veterans, are learning from the youngest competitor...Darby.

And, then, Bryan is stuck with Mr. DB. Ugh.

Tough call at the finish. I have to agree that Darby's front end graphics sucked (and what was Shane's contribution?), but the overall lines were sweet.

No losers in this round. All great talents.

I have really enjoyed the show .It’s really cool seeing Camilo.He is such a talent.Really glad for him.Should catapult him in his professional career.I hope so anyway.
 
It was kind of sad to see Darby go but didn't the one judge kind of offer her a job?

I missed that. She's a design intern at GM and in college.

Donna and I are looking into flying up Tuesday for the party and leaving Wednesday. What hotels or motels close by?
 
There's a Holiday Inn on Woodward about 2-3 miles away in Birmingham. Townsend Hotel in downtown Birmingham but $$$$. Somerset Inn Troy, Detroit Marriot Troy. Lots of stuff within 5 minutes. That would be great if you could make it!
 
Holiday inn full Somerset appears to have room is that one convenient?
 
Ok, since owners are now making plans to fly in for the finale, and another DBK get together, I am trying to put together plans to attend as well!
