We are very fortunate to have Mario Williams of the Houston Texans, AFC Player of the Week from week 1, as our client. We delivered Mario's black w/ silver GT1000 Twin Turbo last nite. I will try to get some better pics of the car when it comes in for its first oil change.

On 93 octane the car made 854 rw hp on 18 psi boost.

Congratulations John. Did you stick with the stock tires? Any performance numbers?

Very bad, nice work!

Upgraded to 19/20 Michelin PS2's. The car is brand new and just has a few hundred miles on it. Mario is going to drive it around for a few weeks on wastegate springs and get used to it and get a few break in miles on it. We will then give it a race gas tune which should make a bit over 900 rw hp. Then we may see about running some numbers on it. It has small GT35R T3 ball bearing turbos. They spool up reasonably well but will not put down much over 900 rw hp due to their relatively small size. I would guess that the car would likely run around 140 mph in the 1/4 mile.

Please post pictures, what wheels, engine compartment etc. Thanks!

:rofl I've got T25RS's on the Noble. 35's are like industrial hot air blowers in comparison! Massive!

And just out of curiousity - what mods were needed to make it possible for a man that tall to SIT in the car comfortably???:eek:willy

3.0L Noble compared to 5.7L on the GT, massive is a relative thing. How does the Noble compare to the GT? My guess is at lower speeds to about 110 mph or on a tighter course the Noble will leave a stock GT.

he is 6' 7" and 290 lbs so he is a big guy. he has some custom recaro seats that were done by a local stereo shop. they did an average but not great job. but he does in fact fit into the car, so he is able to drive it pretty well.

Please forgive the point and shoot pics. We will get some better pics and videos next time the car comes into the shop. That might be a while as I know Mario is enjoying driving it.

Well my Noble runs 506bhp (at the crank) which is rather more than the 352bhp standard. On a tight circuit the Noble just destroys the GT. All said and done the 500kg extra the GT carries around is always going to be a problem.

On the straight, my GT with the pulley changed (621bhp at the crank, on the same roolers as the Noble posted 506bhp) the Noble pulls a 1 - 2 car length off the line. The GT then pegs it until about 135mph, then the GT just goes past and the gap gets bigger and bigger. The Noble hits the limiter in 6th @ 180mph (GPS). At the same venue the GT VMAX'd @ 190mph. It's a 1.6 mile straight.

The Noble feels much quicker than the GT, but the GTs really long gearing is a lot of that.

Phil,

I saw you took your car to Top Gear's Isle of Man test.

When did you do that and how did the GT fair? I haven't been able to get a copy of the mag here in the States.

Thanks,

Joe

John,
Looks nice, whose wheels are those, HRE? Thanks.
God Bless America,

Good Job John!

Congrats on the great numbers!

Very nice setup!! Would like to see the TQ curve of the smaller Turbo's.. They may be just the ticket for the "seat of the pants' crowd!!!

Nice!

He can be a bust the rest of his career and I support him being drafted before Reggie Bush because he drives a GT. That's awesome.

after week 1 Mario had a touchdown and Reggie didnt!

In relevance to last season Bush outplayed him. But it does take a defensive player a little longer to adjust into the NFL.
