Dave the purpose of LEE HOLMANS car ride was to pump people up for The Rally, Monterey with ferraris 50th of the 250/gt40 and so on with whom I see you have lots of wild rides like old GT40s and cobras at the museum.........some people have PM and called on the edge wanting to go......

That said, I have never been joking when I've tried to gently indicate that constant thread bumping and coordinated posting fatigues a number of members and is not good etiquette in the digital age.

I'm not trying to get into writing a thesis on thread bumping and the first categorical imperative. I'm just saying the site is a community. Let's treat it like it's the group of people with diverse opinions and interests it is without running anyone off the road.

Sorry about that, I'm the one that brought it back up. I wasn't around here to buy one back then.

With all the comments around here about how "the search engine is your friend" it seemed more appropriate to ask in the original thread, than start a new thread.

Hey Mike, great hooking up for lunch in your beautiful neck of the woods!
The ride was fantastic but a tad bit eventful right after we left you. We got caught up in a vicious hail storm a 1/2 mile from the Eisenhower tunnel and just missed by a few cars being involved in a multi 18 wheeler pile up. It shut the tunnel down for hours so that left us only Hwy 6 over the top of the pass in the snow.
Tony's little girl seems to be ok but the Doctor's have no answers for the seizure, unsettling for sure.
