I don't want to post prices, but, if you are interested in adjusting your ride height. Feel free to check out our options page.

I have a question for you techs and engineers. The stock car has quite a noticeable 'dive' under hard braking. In some of the videos I've seen, like the Dream Car garage track test, the car with stock shocks dives so much the front lip is very close to rubbing the asphalt. So won't lowering the car make it vulnerable to bottoming out under braking? I find the ride is plenty stiff as it is so I hope the answer isn't that we need to stiffen it further. Is there some kind of 'miracle shock' invented that stiffens only when braking g-forces are extreme?

I am no techy but it looks like they are compressing the spring (in there coil-over picture from GTX). If they compress the spring, wouldn't it create a stiffer ride?

Yes, it compresses the stock spring. It is like preloading the spring, so it will make it stiffer than normal, but not so much so that you will complain. Most will not lower it that much, so you will hardly tell a difference. I lowered it the max and can tell a difference, but it's not bad at all. Stock was too sloppy for me.

It would be interesting to see a video of your car, or one set up like yours, braking from 60 MPH hard enough to engage the ABS to see if the nose drags or not... for those of us planning to attend track-day events.

Anyone tried the Eibach springs?

It is a standard racing spring, so you should be able to just get springs, but I do not think Eibach has a spring set yet for the car. If they do, I would love to get a part number if you have it. It would make my life a little easier. :biggrin

Good News, we are going to have the GTX1 in Vegas next week. I will try and get Mark to do the 60 MPH hard breaking for the camera and post the results shortly there after.

A couple pics I just shot today. These show the 1-3/4" drop for the front, and 3/4" drop for the rear.

Doesnt your wheel/tire setup have the same rolling diameter as stock? If it is, then would that be the same amount of wheel gap I would have on stock wheels? It looks amazing

heres the eibachs

Yes, same rolling diameter, so your stock wheels would give the same wheel gap. Thanks for that link. That will same me some time. :thumbsup

Are the Eibach springs stiffer than stock, if so by how much?

Probably not any stiffer than a compressed stock spring.

Rocman, your car looks awesome. I like the black centers on the wheels too. You may have posted this somewhere else, so I apologize in advance, but I would like to know who makes those wheels, what size are they and what tires are you running? I am one of those who really like the old GT40 look, with the polished rims and darker spokes so I am looking at your setup as well as Jason's (101) set up. Both very nice solutions.

Thanks!
Pulled this from an old post. I have a horrible memory. :biggrin
Stock front wheels are 18x9 +50 offset, and the rears are 19x11.5 +40 offset.

My new front wheels are 20x9.5 with 2.5" lip, and the rears 22x12.5 w/ 5" Lip.

Fronts: Pirelli 255/30/20
Rears: Pirelli 335/25/22

Rocman,
Your car looks awesome, low and mean. :thumbsup Just a question... do your 255 fronts rub at all at the lower ride height when cornering hard w/ 2 passengers on board? If not, do you think the car will take 265 or even 275 fronts?

Great. Wheels are manufactured by who?? and does Pirelli make PZero Corsa's in those sizes yet?

I think 265's will work, but not sure of 275's.
There is no rubbing at all so far, but I have not pushed it yet. When I do track the car, I will be using different wheels. :biggrin

The wheels are made by Iforged. The fronts are corsas I believe. The rears are scorpions due to the size of the wheel. Not an issue for me since I will not track with these tires, and they perform good enough for the street. they gripped pretty good on the way home today! :lol
