Looking like not many accessories available for the NGT??
The Ford Performance lic plate frame will not fit so luckily I had an extra 05/06 style laying around.

What are some of you using for this?

Not going to make it faster, so why add weight? License plate isn't a picture that needs framing. :wink

I bought black shiny stainless at AutoZone for under 10 bucks.

My choice

The best license plate frames are made by Seibon Carbon. They are 2mm thick, handmade with a gloss twill weave pattern that exactly matches our lower trim. I added a few stickers.

"Fly Navy" for me and at least one other Forum denizen.

I went with carbon as well. Not as rad as Ed's though. He is the Sticker King!

put a little black duct tape on the edges to prevent scratching.

I got nothing. The CF does look nice (and appropriate)

All good choices!

Like a self imposed ballast BoP :lol

Agree and CF really looks great.

Here is a photo of how close the twill weave of the Seibon license plate frame compared to the GT's weave. They are made in California & I measured them at 2mm thick. Most CF frames are only 1mm.

Ed

PS I used 5mm heat resistant nylon spacers behind the plate with Ti drilled washers & bolts. I like Ti as much as Bony liked CF. I even have Ti valve stem caps!

Looks really clean Ed. We need 11-99 CF frames!

I look up the plates and the pictures.Does yours show their company name blended in the carbon as shown in their website!

I get my Ti fasteners, washers, etc from Mettec.

This is the link for the Ti valve stem caps. You may want to shorten them. I have the natural ones.

Ed what size fasteners?

Ed what size fasteners?

M6 1.00 x 20mm

I have the internal hex but you could choose external hex or button head. The OEM faster is 15mm long but if you use a 5mm spacer you'll need the 20mm bolt.

I bought the nylon spacers from the local hardware store.
