Lamest reason for a drive in the GT

OK - so this isnt in the category of "i'm just going out to drive" or "out for a drive and a coffee" but more in the "give me any reason to go out for a short drive" - so what's your lamest reason for a short trip?

Mine: We needed a lightbulb for a decorative light in the house, so I went to the hardware store just to buy the lightbulb, a $2 lightbulb, in the GT.

I would say that your reason is far from lame but rather shows that you are comfortable jumping in her at a moments notice and enjoying her; good for you

I think the battery needs charged, I'll take it for a drive.

I have a lot of those excuses that the wife rolls her eyes with a loving grin everytime I make one up :biggrin
To go pick up take out, Chin Chins
To take Timmy to school
Because I worked hard today
BEcause I worked hard yesterday
BEcause I am going to work hard tomorrow :biggrin

and on
and on

I could have made that into 2 drives--one to go look at the bulb and then think about it, and return later to actually buy the bulb.

I drive mine regularly.....rain or shine. Had PVC pipe sticking out the passenger window the other day, have had my plumbing repair toolbox many times in the passenger seat to work on rental properties, carry car parts for other vehicles in it regularly, ....never abused, just used. Go to WalMart, Sam's Club, the grocery store, lunch amost daily. Why drive anything else???:cheers:thumbsup

I use that one all the time....never gets old!!

Need to put air in the tires because the bottoms look flat.

I refuse to lose sleep worrying about the asphalt in my drive buckling up, so I routinely massage it flat with those monster rear tires. Best results are obtained by rolling in 1 direction and then after an hour on a twisting backroad simply return and roll in the opposite direction. Works great, and I sleep like a baby.
