Just Took Delivery

It has almost been a year since I started reading on this forum. I finally have taking delivery of a 2006 Blue and White Ford GT with 8 miles still in the wrapper. I trid to post a pic showing delivery but it was getting dark. I can not explain the feeling I had when I saw this car being unloaded. Great car and I can not wait to take it out.....

Yep...welcome to what should be a genuine help to you in your new ownership of a great marque. Please remember to take it easy until you get used to your new "Gal"...we just lost one in VA. And by the way, white is a very good color, although there are some of us that swear by black!

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. I have always been a long time viper fan/owner since 1996 but something about the Ford GT always kept my attention. Like I said before, I had honestly been looking for a year now and I know Shelby can attest to that cause we have spoken on several occassions but could never put the car with the right price but I do greatly appreciate his efforts. I think Shelby still has a Heritage I would not mind taking off his hands since I hear the trend on the forums is ownership of 2 or more Ford GT's is growing.

Welcome Mark to the fraternity. ChrisA, me, and the wives just had dinner and he asked if I could only take one sports car(and I have a few) and that would be it what would I choose and I answered the GT. I would be sad however that I couldn't drive the other one:wink
