Just Bought One!

Hello All,

Just joined the forum and bought myself the most amazing car ever!

I was able to get an 06 Yellow and Black full option car with only 6.6 miles on it yesterday through my local ford guru. I will have it delivered next week. The only bummer is that I will be on my honeymoon and will have to wait until the following week to see it :ack (not on the honeymoon part :banana just the waiting part honey :wink )

I must add that my wife is awesome. This was our wedding present to ourselves!

Some of the viper guys know me from the alley as I have 3 vipers, 2 gen IIs (1 TT) and an 06 FE coupe... I also have an MTI Z07 dedicated track car... My TT was in my opinion the most amazing car ever... until Bigs took me out in his GT. I LOVE IT!

I cannot wait to get it... going crazy!

I will post pics as soon as I can, and will be bugging most of you as I will want to do some mods and will be looking for advice.

Sounds like I got my car just in time. Only one we could find in the country that wasn't 20 - 30 over window...

The only thing more awesome than Ray's new GT is his new wife! Congrats to you Ray on both counts! Glad to help bring you over to the kewlest Kar ever!

BTW yesterday I let my friend drive my GT, who recently sold his red 430 and has a black one on order, and he said my GT was quicker than the 430. That's what I had thought having driven his 430, but I didn't want to say, glad he did. Then his nieghbor who just bought a new Z06 (initially wanted to race) went for a ride and he said my GT is faster than his Vette (should be). Mind you this is with the pulley and tune, they both had been in stock GT's and couldn't believe the difference with the pulley! Mods on this car are easy and essential!
