Nice drive young man. Looked like a wonderful for a drive through the woods.

Have you blocked out time for Spring Mtn yet? You will like this track- a lot.

My first choice is always the Ford GT!!On long tracks the GT is awesome !!!
Like VIR,Watkins Glen ,Road America.If I had had enough cash I would have bought another Ford Gt!! I plan to do that when my kids get out of college!!!Shelby save me a red no stripe or Heritage please!!!!
Its kinda like women ,there all nice in different ways I can't bring myself in to making my GT a track whore!
I don't mind beating on the GTR ! I bought the GTR for track use and use ability .
It really is an awesome car !The performance is staggering .I have become emotionally involved !
The first thing I did when I got it was to take the Nissan badge of the trunk lid!!!
I had to spend some money on trans cooling ,front and rear diff.coolers,Racing rotors (Stillen) pads,R compound tires,dyno tunning and Stillens brake cooling kit.But now it's track worthy!!
Shelby was a big influence on me selecting the Gtr .For the money or double nothing comes close .
What sold me was the Top Gear you tube video and the Chief engineer video with the journalist driving.
I think they use to call them Datsun!!!

btw : Steve Millen is in the Targa N this week in his GTR. Was in 3rd after Friday. Stillen site has web blog & link to race.

And also...thanks for your input on the GTR. As of a few weeks ago, I've been telling my team that a GTR should be the next "JOYRIDE" in the lineup. You are cementing my decision now with your assessment.

As Ron can attest, NHIS, people either love it or hate it. I learned to drive there, so I am in the "like it" camp. In SCCA we use ASSCAR (spelling is not a typo :)..... ) 1 and 2, so getting a 1/2 "oval" experience is a lot of fun. Turn 6 (the bowl) is actually the highest lateral g's I have ever seen via my data in my race car.
 
It looks like a pretty cool track. Nice smooth driving with the GTR.
