Anyone have an accurate number of GTs that have been totaled? Seems to me there have been several noted in this Forum and on National News clips over the last several months? Still breaks my heart to see on destroyed.

Not enough to make mine valued any higher.

there have been other threads discussing this. I dont thnk anyone knows .....

Like destroying a da Vinci work of art.

so 400 GTs down??? Amazing.

sounds about right.

It was said here on a similar thread that on average, 20% of these exotic models are either wrecked or salvaged... With this being possibly true, That number would be closer to 720..:eek which would mean out of 3600 here in the states, 2800 are left here with CLEAR titles... :ack

I dont think it possible, but I have to agree with Tim, maybe more like 850/900. Of course a lot of them have been rebuilt and put back on the road. Tim, I believe i read somewhere on another thread that they were 3800 cars for the US consumption.......that would make approx. 2900 or so cars left untouched....( not counting fender benders) so yes, I have to say that these cars are getting pretty scarse.....and they will continue to do so unfortunately. Keep the shiny side up my friends.....

yes sir, that conversation we had last week was about this..... I plagerized :rofl.... just forgot where the info came from.... So Gino, when I went to check out those 4 cars last week, they were coupes (some salesmen) :ack

Talked to a guy at a recent car show - he said 50 percent of the Z-06s have been crashed. Don't know if it is true, but still points to a high rate with that car.

I couldn't take the emotional devastation of that kind of loss!!!

I certainly don't know it that 50% number is true or not, but I wouldn't believe it if I were you.

I think we would have heard big time news from the insurance companies if that number was anywhere close to accurate.

But 50%, I'm thinking there's no way!
