I need to take the mirrors out of the side mirror housings. Anyone know how. I thought you turn the mirrors all the way in and then pull on the outer edge but I didn't want to force it. If anyone has a manual handy with directions, I'd be much obliged.:thumbsup

I tried to post the instructions in pdf but its size is over my limit. Is there another way it can be sent to you?

I am taking the internals out of the stock red housings and putting them into carbon fiber housings. Should look very cool!:thumbsup

I don't have the CF housings yet but will post pics once they're done.:thumbsup

Sounds cool! It'll only be a matter of time before someone builds a whole GT in CF. Or until Bony's whole car is CF.

How about a set? :-)

time is now:):thumbsup

Careful on reinstall. That's were most people break'em. Make sure to install the inside edge of the glass first then slide the outside edge in second.

The glass and glass mounting base ( black plastic part) are one piece. They kind of spring to the outside of the housing as you pull on it. I had lots of practice when I did my glass swap

A follow up note. Oliver Kuttner with the Kuttner - Doran GT racing program is looking for some CF mirrors. If some are made I would contact them they maybe interested. He asked me and I had got around to making that part yet..
